New Music Event: Tahko Rhythm & Blues
Tahko region in Kuopio will host a new blues and roots music event Tahko Rhythm & Blues in October.
The event will be held at Tahko Tours’ banquet restaurant Lakeford on the 20th and 21st of September, 2019. Tahko Rhythm & Blues collects six bands to Tahko for two evenings.
Bands will perform energetic program including rhythm & blues, the 50’s rock and roll, rockabilly and British style of pub rock.
The Jumping Cats (from Russia) is an international band, which is rarely seen in Finland.
The high respect of The Jumping Cats is proved with the fact that for example US blues performers often choose the band as a warm up band on their Russian tours.
Tahko Rhythm & Blues also features also Finnish R&B bands such as Sonic >Fuller Band, Ismo Haavisto Trio, Sinner’s Soul, Big Buddy Trio and Million Dollar Tones. DJ Juicy Leskinen plays dance music between the bands to keep those dancing shoes going.
Tahko Rhythm & Blues offers action-backed music weekend, crowned by Tahko Tours’ high-quality accommodation and the many activities of Tahko area.
