According to the traditions of the construction of Orthodox churches, Chapel of the Transfiguration is located on the top of a hill of Tahko-Tours Resort.
Construction was started in July 2013 and was completed in late December of that year.
On August 21, 2013, Archbishop Leo of Karelia and Finland, carried out the ritual consecration of the chapel construction.
The Finnish construction company Honka, which designed the chapel and building it. The chapel is built of Finnish wood.
Weddings can be organized in Tsasouna. After this it is possible to move to the restaurant Lakeford to continue the wedding celebration. The chapel is open to all visitors on request on weekdays 10:00 – 16:00. Please contact reception.
