Tahko-Tours is a cozy holiday village in Tahko, 2.5 kilometers before the center of Tahkovuori. Accommodation in the holiday village in individual detached villas or terraced apartments. Tahko-Tours business was started in 2002 and the construction work was done during the years 2005-2007. Later, in 2013, restaurant Lakeford, an Orthodox chapel and a sports field were completed. The planning and construction work of the village has been carried out by Finnish architects and Russian designers.
Natural materials such as wood were used for constructing and furnishing the houses. The cottages are equipped with exclusive furniture and English plumbing. Moreover, there are heated floors, sauna, internet access, satellite television and fire alarm systems. We want your vacation in Finland to be very comfortable, care-free and relaxed.
All accommodations are located in the same area in the middle of nature, a couple of kilometers from the heart of the city center. In the summer you can rent for example an electric scooter or bicycle from the reception, and in the winter free Ski-Bus takes you to the ski slopes.
AccommodationDuring the summer, the guests of Tahko-Tours holiday village can use the sports field, where playing equipment is available free of charge at the reception. You can play tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball on the field. The holiday village also has a children’s playground and barbecue places for free use by customers. We also rent electric scooters and bicycles.
The beach is excellent for swimming and pedal boats are also available. The rowing boat is included in the rental price of the holiday villa, it can be rented separately for others. A popular activity example for bachelor parties is water skiing. You can also rent a boat with an outboard motor or a motorboat from Tahko-Tours. In addition, we organize water and fishing trips with a larger 150 hp motor boat. Syväri is a beautiful lake with thousands of islands. In the evening at sunset, the fish eat well and the view is incredibly beautiful.
For golfers, Tahko-Tours is a great place, because we are located between the old and new golf courses. We offer our customers golf tickets at a competitive price – ask for an offer for a golf holiday!
Through us, you can also make reservations for other activities in the Tahko area, example Tahko Safaris’ paintball games or e-bike rentals.
Every winter, our own sports field is frozen into a skating rink. The rink is open to everyone and skates can be rented at the Tahko-Tours reception. Also a sledding hill will be made for children next to the reception. You can use sliders for free.
In a lakeside sauna you can refresh yourself in the ice hole. Ice hole is open to everyone and can be used at any time. The sauna can be rented separately.
It’s not a long way to get to the ice, where you can fish. You can rent ice fishing equipment at the Tahko-Tours reception.
You can also go to the ski trails directly from the holiday village’s yard, as the ice trail runs right on the ice of the lake and the cross-country trail is right on the other side of the main road.

The private sauna is a great place for evening parties with friends or family. You can also get a meals from the catering service.
Tahko-Tours’ transport service gives you a ride for example to the airport or train station, or to the centers of Tahko and Kuopio.
